The Hub
The OneBike Hub is coming!
The OneBike Hub in Remarkables Park is set to become a year-round community hub dedicated to bike-related education programmes and events that keep Queenstowners rolling.
Anyone in the community can pop in and make use of the bike tool library and repair spaces to maintain and fix their own bikes.
This is all done under the watchful eyes of our experienced mechanics who are there to lend a hand, teach and support.
The OneBike team will continue to provide rescued and repaired bikes back into the community, to ensure everyone who needs a bike, can have one.
With stage one of our masterplan delivered, we’re now looking towards stage two.
Stage two includes a large building to deliver year-round bike maintenance courses and other educational activities plus providing an indoor repair space for those colder days.
The outdoor area will be decked with rescued timber and a large verandah to keep the cold (and sun and rain) at bay, further extending our teaching and repair space.
We're nearly there...
We’re almost there and just need a few pushes to get over the hill and bring this much needed space to life.
Lightfoot are inviting partnerships from organisations committed to sustainability, community well-being and the love of biking.
Sponsorship tiers include the Gold (Principal) level at $5,000 annually for two years, the Blue (Secondary) level at $1,500 annually for three years, and the Magenta (Support) level, which welcomes contributions in labour, goods, or promotional support.
Each level offers unique benefits such as bike servicing for employees, team-building events, and branding opportunities within the high-visibility hub space.
