The OneBike Hub
Visit the Hub for connection, cycling and community
The OneBike Hub is the Queenstown Lakes region’s first community bike space, located in sunny Frankton. Everyone is welcome. Open several days a week, it’s a place to fix your own bike with a bit of friendly support, pass on a bike you no longer need, or to find a rescued bike that’s ready for a new home.
We rescue and repair donated bikes and salvage usable parts and recycle metal to keep resources in circulation through our Crunch programme. Volunteers are always welcome, no experience is needed, just a willingness to get stuck in and be part of something good. Whether you’re giving, receiving, repairing or simply popping in for a chat, the OneBike Hub is here to help our community keep moving.

Volunteer
Ready to lend a hand? We’d love to have you!
You can drop in anytime we’re open. We always have bikes needing repair or dismantling, and any help is much appreciated.
Don’t have much experience? No problem! We have simple jobs like stripping bikes for recycling. If you’re keen for a bigger challenge, we even have projects where you can build a bike from parts.
Bring your bike issues to us for friendly advice and expertise. Our goal is to help you fix your bike, not just do it for you!
We have a large collection of second-hand parts that are hard to find in bike shops, like 26-inch wheels, quill stems, and V-brakes.
For more complex jobs, we’ll happily refer you to one of our favourite local bike shops.
Donate Bikes & Parts!
Old bikes, parts, accessories gathering dust?
Drop them in during our opening hours so we can recycle them.
We accept most things bike related.
Metal Recycling
Got metal waste? Drop it at our Crunch metal recycling station!
Our CRUNCH Bicycle Recycling programme, an Aotearoa first, diverts around 500 kg of bike metal from Queenstown landfills monthly.
Just place your unsorted metal (steel, mixed, aluminium) in the wheelie bins for Phoenix Recycling NZ’s monthly pickup.
The OneBike Hub
By supporting the OneBike Hub, you join a transformative initiative that not only reduces waste and emissions but also ensures equitable access to sustainable, safe, and fun transport – bikes!
Your contribution is vital. It enables us to maintain and repair donated bikes, ensuring they’re safe and reliable for years to come. We also provide essential bike accessories and equipment to keep riders safe.
All funds donated help us make cycling accessible, strengthen community bike skills and contribute to a sustainable future one bike at a time.
Together, we’re creating a lasting legacy of active travel, sustainable living, and stronger community connections.
